FAQS

Home: About

What will I learn during my sessions?

How do I book my training?

You can get in touch via the contact form, by email or by giving us a call on 0800 030 2370. For students, we require a copy of your DSA2 entitlement letter. Please email a copy of this to:
hello@circle-training.co.uk

How long is each session?

Your trainer will show you how to use your Assistive Technology in the context of your studies or job role. Sessions will be tailored to your needs and priorities, with strategies designed to help you feel more organised, more focused and less stressed.

Where will the training take place?

A face to face session is usually 2 - 3 hours. The trainer will suggest a short break of a few minutes after the first hour but you can request as many breaks as you need. Remote sessions can be a duration of 1 or 2 hours to suit what works best for you and your schedule.

Most session are conducted online via Zoom or Teams. Face-to-face training sessions need to take place in a quiet, private space where you can feel relaxed and focused. This is usually a study room on campus, a meeting room or at your home address if you prefer.

How does remote training work?

If you decide to choose remote training, the training is still one-to-one with one of our friendly and experienced trainers but conducted online. Our trainers usually use Zoom or Teams and they will send you a link to an online meeting room. Don't worry if you have any nerves about this as it's really simple and your trainer can guide you step-by-step through the process.

What if I have to cancel my session?

Should you need to cancel a session it's really helpful if you can give us as much notice as possible - ideally at least 2 working days. This will allow us to offer the spot to someone else. In accordance with SFE policy, you are allowed 2 cancellations with less than 24hrs notice (excluding weekends and bank holidays) per academic term. View the cancellation policy for your funding body.
